Decadent breakfast to break up the usual oats and fruit. This is a make-ahead breakfast that can be doubled, tripled, etc., to feed all the hungry people in your house. Mix all the ingredients together the night before, and it’ll be ready for you the next morning. It can be eaten warmed or cold. Top it as desired.
We use powdered peanut butter in this recipe to reduce the amount of fat added to the oats. If you prefer to use regular peanut butter, then by all means! You can also substitute powdered almond butter, regular almond butter, or any other nut or seed butter.
½ cup oats
½ cup non-dairy milk
1T maple syrup
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp vanilla extract
Eat straight out of the fridge or warm it up before eating.
Top it with extra chocolate chips, bananas, berries, coconut flakes, chopped nuts, granola, or your favorite toppings.
