No matter how many people you are having over for the holidays, you inevitably have to put out snacks. This charcuterie board will appease any member of your family, vegan or not.
These boards are fun to create and even more fun to eat. You can get as complicated as you want.
These boards don't have to be full of unhealthy snacks to be delicious, nor do you need bags of chips set out. People often eat with their eyes, so these boards are a great way to draw people in.
I'll show you what I placed on the board in the pictures and give you other ideas on how to create a plant-based charcuterie board for your holiday gatherings.

Cinnamon Maple Nuts
· 3 cups mixed raw nuts
· 1/3 cup maple syrup
· 1 tsp cinnamon
· ¼ tsp salt
Preheat Oven to 350°
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat mat.
In a large bowl, combine all of your ingredients. Mix well, ensuring all the nuts are coated in the syrup and cinnamon.
Spread the mixture onto your baking sheet in an even layer.
Bake for 15-18 minutes. Watch them as you don't want them to burn.
Note: Include some brazil nuts - they contain more selenium and other essential minerals than most other nuts.
In this year of 2020, our gatherings may be smaller, but we can still make the best of what we have. Create something fun for your family, no matter how many of you there are. Eat good healthy food, and make it fun.
